Another raid by “the latest generation” of climate activists: the Tuscan regional headquarters of the Mef – Ministry of Economy and Finance – in Florence was daubed with colorful paint splatters. Demonstrators loaded fire extinguishers with paint and covered the building’s facade.

The three activists then sat down in front of the building and held up a banner that read “Stop fossil fuel subsidies”. Shortly thereafter, the carabinieri arrived on site, who took them to the barracks for identification and reporting.
