First podium finish of the season for Dominik Fischnelller in the Luge World Cup. On the slopes of Winterberg, Germany, the Italian finished in second place in the men's individual competition. The German host Max Langenhan triumphed (1:43.695), followed by the 30-year-old from Brixen (1:43.871). Latvian Kristers Aparjods (1:43.877) completed the podium in third place. For world champion Firiegeller it is the 44th individual podium finish in the world championship circuit. Of the other Italians in the race, Leon Felderer takes 16th place, followed by Lukas Peccei. Instead, Alex Gufler ends up in 23rd place.
