We are close to the 2023 edition of the African Cup of Nations, but the host nations of the next two editions have already been announced: those of 2025 and 2027. Morocco will host the 2025 African Cup of Nations, while the 2027 edition will be hosted together hosted by Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda. Confederation of African Football President Patrice Motsepe made this known while announcing the hosts of Afcon 2025 and 2027.
It is the second time in history for the Moroccans, who hosted the competition in 1988 and had to abandon the competition in 2015 due to Ebola. For Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda it is the first time ever. Awarded with 22 out of 22 votes for Morocco.
