Wall Street flat, Europe doing well

A slow start for Wall Street after declining weekly jobless claims data: The Dow Jones and Nasdaq are above parity. Stocks on the rise in Europe. Paris rises stronger, +0.95%, driven by the luxury sector and in particular Kering. The fashion group reported a 4% decline in sales in the fourth quarter, but also an improvement in the US and Europe.

Luxury stocks are rising across Europe, including in Piazza Affari. The Ftse Mib is up 0.60%. +0.60% also for Frankfurt, London +0.15%. The best stock is StMicroelectronics, along with Stellantis, +2.8%, at the bottom of the list Generali -2.3% and Bper -1.10% after the end of the year. The 10-year BTP yield rises again to 3.91%. Brent oil rises above $80 a barrel. The gas price will be 28 euros per MWh.
