Uncertain stock markets, sharp decline in gasoline

According to Monday's records, the opening on Wall Street barely moved. Today the Dow Jones is trading weakly at -0.20% while the Nasdaq is up 0.18%.

Attention remains focused on the Federal Reserve's next steps: There is no longer any belief in a first interest rate cut in March. On Thursday – in addition to the ECB's interest rate decision – the preliminary GDP report for the fourth quarter of the USA is also expected.

The European markets continue to be characterized by uncertainty. Paris and Milan are the worst, down almost half a point, while Frankfurt loses 0.20%. However, London was slightly above parity.

Spread increases slightly to 157 basis points (BTP yield at 3.89%).

Natural gas fell sharply to 26.86 euros per megawatt hour.
