The sky in Scuol is just blue

Today, international snowboarding speaks Italian. At least the female one. Thanks to the final of Lucia Dalmasso and Jasmin Coratti, the Italians achieved a wonderful double in the World Cup in Scuol (Switzerland). It was Lucia Dalmasso who achieved her first career victory in the World Cup, ahead of Jasmin Coratti, who was also on the podium for the first time in the top circuit. A triumph that for the athlete from Belluno represents the centerpiece of a season in which she has so far taken second place in the trials in Davos (in the slalom) and Cortina d'Ampezzo (giant slalom).

The last Italian success at the Women's World Cup was signed by Nadya Ochner in December 2018. Fourth place, on the other hand, went to Roland Fiwickeler in the men's category: After giving way to the Slovenian Tin Mastnak in the semi-finals, the South Tyrolean had to admit defeat to the equally experienced Andreas Promenegger in the small final, with Benjamin Karl ultimately scoring the winning goal in the Austrian final. Filehner's route to the quarterfinals had put an end to that of Aaron March (seventh), who won in the heat ahead of fellow Italian Daniele Bagozza (tenth), while Maurizio Bormolini (13th) and Edwin Coratti (ninth) retired in the first round had against the German Elias Huber and the Slovenian ZanKosir; Mirko Felicetti was unable to qualify in the morning.
